Biodun Awosusi
'Biodun Awosusi is a medical doctor, freelance writer, blogger and social activist. His writing interests include Health and fitness, biodiversity and wildlife conservation, and green economy. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery [Distinction in Physiology/Pharmacology]. He currently holds a Platinum Certification of Completion from British Medical Journal Learning and Online certification in Basics of Health Planning from American University of Armenia. He is certified by the American Heart Association as a health care provider for Basic Life Support. He constantly updates his knowledge since graduation from Obafemi Awolowo University. This defines his specialty in medical issues, nutrition, pharmacology and physiology, biodiversity and nature.
He was one of the Academy Managers at the Tolerance Academy 2010 organised by the Champions of the Society, sponsored by the United Nations Alliance for Civilizations; the project trained young people to be agents of peace and national tolerance in order to create a sustainable world. He has worked with New World Hope Foundation as a United Nations Online Volunteer.
He just completed his internship at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile Ife where he served as Assistant general secretary of the Association of Resident Doctors. He is an Online Masters Student at the University of Liverpool where he is studying International Management of Health systems, and heads C'artunwer Consulting which provides research assistance services at www.freelancenig.com.
